GOOD TO BE BACK!!

Its been two years since i last logged in, but reading my own blog helped me a lot with  everything that has happened in my life.,need to be steadfast and charge up my faith in God, and i should be regular here also. Guess can keep that as my new year resolution..No matter how busy my life gets. This blog was supposed to be a short one.. so hi everyone, hope all is well with u..will get back with more of my interests, funny incidents and so on.... take care!

His ways are not my ways

For the past few days, i feel like i cant move past Isaiah 55:8-11... i try to go back to my new testament reading, but then i cant stop thinking about those verses, .. well, here they are....

 8. " For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,"     

         declares the LORD. 

9. " As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher  

       than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return  

      to it without watering the earth, and making it bud and flourish, so that                                                                                    

       it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11.  so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me  

       empty, but will  accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for 

       which i sent it. 

When you read these verses, don't you feel the Peace of God filling you?? i hope so, in my case.. i was boosted up inside, i was like i so needed that right now!!...well lately i felt so downhearted, clueless regarding a lot of things about my life, worrying about them and things like that...and when i read these verses i was dumbfounded, i said to myself "nobody can cheer me up like u Jesus, ur awesome", slept with a smile that night, had the most peaceful sleep..

         What really stuck me was the order in which it was written.... in the 10 and 11 verses , there is a definite answer that every God's promise which are in his Word will come to pass....the metaphor illustrated is so beautiful , just as rain and snow can never return back to the sky without watering the earth..!! how Great is  God, none of his children will lack any good thing, as written in Psalms 34:10

        So, friends if you think ur faith has fall short, cheer up God's word can never go in vain!! With  faith he can do wonders and miracles in your life!! just wait on him! he will do it for you..... always trust his Ways , for he wants the best for you!! ...Amen?? God bless!!!

Creepy Crawlies!!!!!!!

    

The thought of it freaks me out, YIKES!! I hate these creepy crawlies like lizards(all sorts), frogs, bugs, i can tolerate snakes to some extent.!well, there are many incidents , especially with the geckos,house lizards.... ugh!!!

      The one am gonna tell you about happened sometime in July, i know its like ages ago, but i think its time i write in my ejournal!!

        On a very beautiful evening, me and my cousin sister were watching television,we were watching movies one after the other,it was non-stop...it was about 3am i guess, and we were watching this horror movie, hundred feet i suppose! I was glued to the movie, and my sister since it was night, she would now n then scan the room for any lizards.

Finally she spotted one , and was tapping me slowly and this is what happened.....

   My sister : 'Fiddie, i...i think we have a visitor'

   Me         : (turns around),where! where!  

(both me and my sister stand up on the sofa where we were sitting!!)

My sister   :  (laughing) over there , on the door of our room!

 (it was one huge gecko, the size of a baby crocodile, guess it was an oldie!!)

Me            :   UGh!! so disgusting.. can we run inside? we got to sleep!!

                     what if it falls down? never mind we be here itself!!  

                    think we are sleeping in the living room today!!  

  (our eyes are still fixed on that crawly, while talking.... and then it spotted some fly or something.. it started moving down..and we are like ahhhh screaming soo much!!, and our grandma woke up as well!!, told her some lizard and not to worry... she was like OH my GOD!!)

       Our servant acca also got up, and came running to the living room, she asked " what's wrong? " we both shout together "PALLI!!( lizard in tamil).. She came with a broomstick and gave a big whack on the head of the lizard and thought it would be dead, but this one was strong it started running towards us.. and you can easily guess know what we did, SCREAMING like anything!!our servant acca could not help laughing..she spotted the lizard under some chair and started whacking  again!!

        And she thought it ran away  because it was nowhere to be found, so she said you girls are safe to go now. But when she took the broomstick out, there that lizard was clinging to the broomstick, that was the grossest thing i ever saw!!YEW!! i was like "Acca , its behind the broomstick ahhhhhh!! She took it away and after about hundred whacks it was killed!! Me and my sister was like one croc down,!YEW!! and also we got a sore throat!!

        It was 5am when we finally hit our beds that night, but no sleep only!!!

         DISGUSTING CREEPY CRAWLIES!!!!!

   

LOL DAYS * miss them*

School days are so much fun, nothing complicated with no worries about future and stuff...Well, I have changed a fair number of schools , i do not know what goes wrong , i get easily bored with a school,(even though i will be having fun at the same time) the maximum is about three years in a school i guess!! ..:P I did my fourth grade in a school opposite to my house, made good friends , had so much fun then when school day fever came to descend they kept auditions for dance numbers, and i did not get through that i got so mad and i went to my parents that evening cried and squealed my heart out to them.... finally i got what i want!! changed my school :P  besides another reason was my folks were thinking of putting my brother in a different school as well, as  the younger one always look upto the elder one, i wanted to change as well..but the reason i told my parents was i did not get through the dance audition.. 
             The fact was  i changed two schools by the time i reached my tenth grade ...(funny why i did that). In my tenth met an old friend of mine from CSI (thats the school i studied in my 4th) in my Maths tuition, what a reunion that was!! :P ... eventhough we both were so nearby we never met in like 6 years.her name was teddy*..so that week (or the next i forgot) through teddy called some of my friends and we met at my home for lunch..we had loads to catch up, and a thought struck me then...CHANGE UR SCHOOL BACK TO CSI!! and i liked the idea .. :D
              During my tenth summer holidays went to my mother one day and asked her " Mom can i change my school to CSI? she was like  why? 
i was not out of reason... told her i want to learn french which is not available in my old school..My mom suprisingly agreed!!... so joined CSI the next week, was so happy , conveyed the news to teddy, we both are jumping up and down..

             On our first day of school, four of us *teddy, *quacks,*moncs, and myself(fine noodles it is!!) went together...we were all in different groups in our high school...but everyday after school we made it a point to hang out in my place for awhile and then leave home....i remember us sitting on the steps of my house in the portego, munching something ,doing a little gossip,talk about any cute guys!! ecetera ... teddy will crack good jokes , because everyday she will have some laugh gags for us!!! one thing i regretted the end of my 12th year , should never have changed this school ever!! would have had the best times!! My high school was something i can never forget!! miss u girls!!One thing i realised with all my school changing scenarios, some people are meant to be in your life even if time can seperate them from you!!

          Its been so long , Five years have passed, met rather occassionaly a few years ago maybe..never all four of us together ..!! especially moncs one busy bee she is!! Hope to have the foursome reunion soon,! Atleast this Christmas, which would be the best christmas gift for moi!! miss you all....School life would not have been more fun without you 3! HUgS!!

GLEE!!!

Glee is a musical comedy - drama televison series, and it is also one of my favourites. Being jobless and doing nothing  at home, all i did was watch these dramas to kill my time, to my amazement i started looking forward to watching Glee :) Missing it  actually, so am pouring out on my e-diary, I still remember how i used to literally count the days for the weekend to come. 

        I think i should also tell what its all about to those who are clueless about what am saying..., basically this show will be loved especially by all music lovers !! The entire series focuses on a show choir know as Glee Club , at the William McKinley High school , somewhere in Ohio i guess!!  It used to be very popular until recently so the Spanish teacher of that school, Mr.Shuester wanted to restore the club to its former glory and he will take over , and will name the club as  "New Directions". The Kids will love him because he has this passion for music and that is the kind of teacher the kids want., they will make him proud...

      And  so every year a musical competition takes place known as the Regionals , so they will be working hard for it! well, but their happiness is short lived , because it turns out , Ms Sue Sylvester, coach of the cheerios( ie cheerleading  squad) is one of the judges in the competition , she always hates the Glee club and just like it was expected they will never win the Regionals,but they will be happy that they have a family on their own, made friends for life and all of them have found their passion....and season 1 ends....

I hope they win in Season 2 *smiling*..... but in india they broadcast after your done waiting!!! *sigh* .. however Glee music is a click away anyways!! :P

 Howdy!!! Music is my passion. I can say it is more part of me. It is one way  I can forget my worries, anxiety, or anything bad and can  totally be myself. I listen mostly to Pop, Hiphop, a little bit of rock when I feel like it…Mostly connect with girl artists,  and a few guy artists like Enrique for instance!! Whoa!!... I remember when I was a teen, used to be an ardent fan of Britney and eventually it died out, Phew! Am glad I did!!!

                     

          Some of my favourite artists I still don mind listening to are Delta Goodrem (she is amazing, wonderful lyrics), Selena Gomez (I started liking her after watching the movie another Cinderella story and princess protection program J, her songs are okay to listen when your in this jumpy mindset!!),Hillary duff, Taylor swift, Lady Gaga (she looks like a weirdo but her  music sure does rocks!!) and all the Glee tracks…. , a few good songs by Black Eyed Peas, Usher, John denver, Pointer sisters, Toto,  (still cant let go off  the 80’s).

             To me contemporary artists says it all! Nothing compared to them, in my opinion i think the songs are perfectly blended to the present lifestyle and at times speaks out what am going through, very meaningful and makes lot of sense to me. One of my favourite artists in that category are Rebecca st james (all of hers are too good), Susan ashton(“Move me” is one amazing song, typical me!!), Michelle tumes (“Dream”..dreamy track and very beautifully sung), Barlowgal (“Never Alone” there are times when I have felt exactly what they mean in that song!)

 Now am not being sidey here pals!! What am trying to say is any song with meaningful lyrics and good music  are worth listening to!!! Choose the right music and have fun!!hope i din bore you...... Adios!! :)

Fascinated by genes

Its been awhile since I wrote something .The truth is got caught up with life, (even though i have been jobless for a loong time) and forgot all about my blog, My apologies for that :/. Well, i was doin nothing at home and was pondering over what to write, then it struck me, why can't I write something based on life sciences *smiles* .This post is based on the Big Book .

I have a major in molecular biology and genetics and that subject has always fascinated me. To those people who have no clue about what am saying, let me try to explain .Every living being have this hereditary material called as genes. A gene is a unit of heredity in a living organism. It normally resides on a stretch of DNA that codes for a type of protein. Still doesn't ring a bell? may be a computer analogy can help, the DNA contained in genes performs like software, telling the hardware in the cytoplasm what to do. A small fault in a DNA can totally change the entire function of a protein, or it can cause some physical anemolies.

I have given only a gist of what i have learnt, there are volumes and volumes of books based on the study of genes, what struck me in the reality aspect is that they are so tiny, they stay behind the scenes ( u can hardly see them) Without them our body cannot function, it will only result in chaos. Makes me ponder more about the designer, God's creation is amazing how vast is his knowledge, we can hardly fathom it!! * in awe* .

We can do nothing without him, what i feel is, just because we cannot see him with our eyes does not mean he does not exist.. I cannot see a DNA yet i know its behind every activity in my body. Of course same is that God stays behind the scenes, and yet without his love, there will be only chaos in our lives. He is THE DNA to our lives without which we are doomed. well, think i can finish my post with this verse i just remembered,

'Jesus said " You cannot bear fruit unless you remain in me" - John 15: 4b
