His ways are not my ways

For the past few days, i feel like i cant move past Isaiah 55:8-11... i try to go back to my new testament reading, but then i cant stop thinking about those verses, .. well, here they are....

 8. " For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,"     

         declares the LORD. 

9. " As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher  

       than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return  

      to it without watering the earth, and making it bud and flourish, so that                                                                                    

       it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11.  so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me  

       empty, but will  accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for 

       which i sent it. 

When you read these verses, don't you feel the Peace of God filling you?? i hope so, in my case.. i was boosted up inside, i was like i so needed that right now!!...well lately i felt so downhearted, clueless regarding a lot of things about my life, worrying about them and things like that...and when i read these verses i was dumbfounded, i said to myself "nobody can cheer me up like u Jesus, ur awesome", slept with a smile that night, had the most peaceful sleep..

         What really stuck me was the order in which it was written.... in the 10 and 11 verses , there is a definite answer that every God's promise which are in his Word will come to pass....the metaphor illustrated is so beautiful , just as rain and snow can never return back to the sky without watering the earth..!! how Great is  God, none of his children will lack any good thing, as written in Psalms 34:10

        So, friends if you think ur faith has fall short, cheer up God's word can never go in vain!! With  faith he can do wonders and miracles in your life!! just wait on him! he will do it for you..... always trust his Ways , for he wants the best for you!! ...Amen?? God bless!!!

Fascinated by genes

Its been awhile since I wrote something .The truth is got caught up with life, (even though i have been jobless for a loong time) and forgot all about my blog, My apologies for that :/. Well, i was doin nothing at home and was pondering over what to write, then it struck me, why can't I write something based on life sciences *smiles* .This post is based on the Big Book .

I have a major in molecular biology and genetics and that subject has always fascinated me. To those people who have no clue about what am saying, let me try to explain .Every living being have this hereditary material called as genes. A gene is a unit of heredity in a living organism. It normally resides on a stretch of DNA that codes for a type of protein. Still doesn't ring a bell? may be a computer analogy can help, the DNA contained in genes performs like software, telling the hardware in the cytoplasm what to do. A small fault in a DNA can totally change the entire function of a protein, or it can cause some physical anemolies.

I have given only a gist of what i have learnt, there are volumes and volumes of books based on the study of genes, what struck me in the reality aspect is that they are so tiny, they stay behind the scenes ( u can hardly see them) Without them our body cannot function, it will only result in chaos. Makes me ponder more about the designer, God's creation is amazing how vast is his knowledge, we can hardly fathom it!! * in awe* .

We can do nothing without him, what i feel is, just because we cannot see him with our eyes does not mean he does not exist.. I cannot see a DNA yet i know its behind every activity in my body. Of course same is that God stays behind the scenes, and yet without his love, there will be only chaos in our lives. He is THE DNA to our lives without which we are doomed. well, think i can finish my post with this verse i just remembered,

'Jesus said " You cannot bear fruit unless you remain in me" - John 15: 4b

His Presence!!!

Aloha! Everyone, Hope you all are doing fine! Pardon me for not taking my blog very serious, except when I really want to share something, that’s not gonna happen anymore I believe!..(meaning will be regular!!) Here goes….

Exodus 33:14-17

14. The Lord replied, “ My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

15. Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. 16 How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”

17. And the Lord said to Moses, “I will do everything you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.”

As u can see, am only sharing what I felt in my heart..anyways When I was reading this verse, I could not help thinking how close Moses would have been with God….no wonder he spoke face to face with him…huh?...it really pulled me to take step to go even closer to God.. One more thing God taught me was I can never do anything without him as told in John 15:5b..

I love this chapter Exodus 33….. There are times when we think ordinary when all the while we are distinguished people, since we are God’s children. And God can do mightier things than we can ever imagine.. so never get depressed when things dont seem right to you.. always remember there is a God who is watching over you, he never sleeps nor slumbers, always remember to put him first in everything you do… without him we cannot do a thing!!

So what am trying to tell here is no matter how bizarre a situation can be, hold onto God and he will guide you through in his perfect way…as it is written in Isaiah 55:8,9

I would like to wrap up here with a few lines from one of my favourite song..it goes like this,,,

“Oceans deep; Mountains high, O my GOD I cannot live without your Love.”

So Special!!

  hi everybody!here goes my first official blog, and am so excited in writing this, because as i was pondering  about what to write ,i felt that i can start with writing from my BIG BOOk, so this is it.............

                                               PSALM 139

This is one of my favourite psalm from the bible,when i came across the psalm i was too shocked to know about God's understanding and his Love.....let me explain what am trying to convey here,the psalm has 24 verses,each verse explains how much he cares,,starting from the first till the last.. it goes with his knowledge about everything we would be doing from the day we were born, (all our dark secrets too)),my favourite part is even when i go astray or try to hide from his presence even then his Right Hand would always uphold me,or it can be implied he always finds and pulls me up,isn't that amazing???some one always keeping track of you,even when u annoy them the most,!!

    The most wonderful thing about this psalm i like is,how God considers everyone  very special and unique ,(verses 13-16).The best part is he has designed our lives before our birth even, how cool is that!!the fact is we can never fathom it with our chicken brains ,:)Its just like before we execute a plan we make blue print of it,so that was exactly what God was doing too,,we are all part of His wonderful Plan....

           This might sound different or unbelieving,and the fact is it has a very strong statement and is is so true,i can say it confidently because there were times in my life when things were not on the brighter side,God cheered me up by helping me to read this psalm,so that whatever happens in my life,(unhappy times)i would always get reminded, my plan is not yet over!!!!Now am in all smilessss:) which applies for everyone out there!you are special !so cheer up!he knows everything that is going on in our lives he will come and help you,because you are the apple of his Eye!!:)
