A bestie

F.R.I.E.N.D.S is one funny sitcom, right now thinking about it makes me laugh! Its one of my favorite television shows of all times. I can watch the entire series a million times and never get bored. Some scenarios they broadcast reminds me of the fun times i had with my friends. . it also makes me realise that some friends are friends for life... want to dedicate this blog to one such friend of mine!!

I have been in hostels my entire college days.. I can still remember vividly the first day of my college, freaking nervous (about ragging and stuff) and also was wondering if i will make friends, if people will like me and things like that......My very first friend was Hema in my undergrad college.... The funny thing was I never wanted to be friends with her when i saw her the first time standing outside our warden room, I was literally praying that i do not get to be her roommate ,when my turn came to meet the warden it was *finger crossing* moment, got my room , was quite excited and when i went inside my room was freaking shocked!! and why was that? The girl whom i never wanted to share my room ended up being my roommate....( One of those moments wen i was like damn, my prayers are unanswered!!). I really want to faint, back then but pulled myself together and went up to her and started a conversation and i liked that i did! (later on i came to know she also felt the same way about me, Wat a coincidence!!!))

Two days passed we became friends, both our frequencies matched , bingo!! we became good friends *smiles*..Our room was always in the naughty girls room list...We do the opposite of what we are told to do, as in coming late for general body meeting, untidy room(we meet our warden a number of times for this). always shouting at the top of our voices after ten (its silence hour after 10). we all got heaps of warning... but nothing got inside our iron heads!! :P

i would say our warden loved us because we drove her crazy every year!!

i tend to wander away from a particular topic, so coming back to hema, the 3 years we had was one one of the best days. To describe her she is this patient, tolerant, jovial person, very much down to earth always has the best of interests for me, would never give up on me ... have never seen anyone give genuine words of encouragement like her, she has been with me through all thick and thin of my life, We had our misunderstandings but then we always got back(it happened only once). She is one of my bestest friends, can never forget her ever for everything she did for me. love you Hema dahling!! Love you heap loads!! ( i know ur shocked, cut it out girl!!!) muah........................
